When ever your car is in the care of our service
department we will:
1. Fit only quality parts and materials (genuine Main
Dealer if still under warranty)
2. Provide a fixed price quotation before
carrying out any additional work.
3. Look after your vehicle carefully at all
times where possible protective seat covers, floor mats and coverings will be
used.
4. Allow only skilled technicians to conduct work on your vehicle
5. Keep for your inspection, if required any of the used parts replaced by
us before we dispose of them.
We offer 2 types of servicing at St
Albans Car Clinic
• Full Service (Usually for older cars)
This
checks pretty much every part of the car over – it also includes replacement of
all the engines filters (oil, air, fuel, cabin) new spark plugs (petrol engines)
and a comprehensive check over of the whole car and report to you of any
additional work that may be required
• Manufactures specification servicing (Usually
Newer Cars)
We have the latest computer equipment that gives us the service
schedules the manufacturers use when servicing cars – we have the equipment to
turn out service warning lights (where applicable)
No More Warranty Problems

Are you aware that since October 2003 you are entitled to get
your car serviced where you choose….. No More Main Dealer Prices. As long as
genuine parts are used and the service is carried out to manufacturers
specification. In an independent Survey carried out by The Office of Fair
Trading (OFT) they found that servicing a car at a Main Dealer was typically £83
more expensive than at an Independent Garage such as us.
